About Us

Crescent Academy’s preschool program consists of Montessori-inspired play based learning for students age 3 and 4. The developmentally appropriate curriculum adheres to standards set by GELDS and GKIDS, and also incorporates Islamic Studies, Arabic, and Qur’an Memorization.

Class Schedule | Curriculum

The Kindergarten program at Crescent Academy uses the same Montessori-inspired play based learning method as the preschool classes for half of the required learning.  A structured teaching approach is used for English and Math to prepare students for first grade. Students are also introduced to the Qaida and continue their Islamic Studies.

Preschool Curriculum | Elementary Curriculum

Crescent Academy’s elementary program for 1st-5th grade students follows the same academic cuuriculum as the Fayette County Public School Syetem, but offers an individualized approach to each student to allow them to succeed with the learning method that works best for them.  In addition, students take courses in Immersive Arabic, Islamic studies, Qur’an Memorization, and learning the Qaida. Rotating electives of Art, Computer literacy, Health, and Engineering also offered.

Elementary Curriculum | Extended Learning

Our school is expanding based on the needs of the community. InshaAllah we will be opening our doors for higher grade levels in the next 2-3 years.

“We are very happy with the school. Our daughter has already learned so much in the first few months (both general knowledge and Islamic) The teachers are all wonderful and I love the use of the app. I like being updated on what the kids are doing throughout the day.”

“I think the kids are learning well and gaining confidence…I feel comfortable sending them to school because I am updated about their activities everyday and teachers coordinate very well with us. The most important part is that kids learn about their religion too.”

“I always feel like a family with the school from the founder of the school to the teachers, and my daughter has learnt so much within a short period of time. [This] has began to prepare/build her for a brighter and greater future.”
