Provide an Islamic environment for children to learn, grow, and play in, while nurturing a strong love and foundation for Islam. To help children excel academically using a multifaceted approach to meet the needs of each individual student in a comprehensive academic curriculum.

At Crescent Academy, we want to instill in each student the love of Islam at their core, and provide them with the best opportunity to learn about the world around them, their place in the world, and what they can accomplish with a great foundation academically and spiritually.
How and When We Started
With a growing Muslim population in the South Metro Atlanta area, there was an urgent need for an Islamic school. Many families with young children were leaving the community yearly to gain closer access to Islamic Schools in North Metro-Atlanta. The founders of the school themselves were all planning on moving until they decided to Establish a School instead in 2022.
Crescent Academy officially opened its doors in August 2023, fully funded by the local Muslim community of the Islamic Community Center of Atlanta (ICCA) in Fayetteville, GA with a preschool class of 7 students. The following year in 2024, due to high demand of 40 registered students, the school expanded quickly within ICCA to include grades PreK3, PreK4, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. Additional classrooms were built and furnished over the summer of 2024 to support the increasing number of students.
We conducted a survey of our community in 2022, and we have over 75 families with over 150 school-aged children interested in being enrolled in Crescent Academy. We hope to expand at a steady and measured pace to ensure the best environment for our students.
